Um artigo escrito pelo amigo BANZAI, despertou-me a atenção, dizia ele que as loiras vão acabar, pois eu não acho piada nenhuma nas loiras, pelo contrário sempre as levei muito a sério, sempre quis ter uma, mania minha, mania, que começou há mais de 20 anos, sempre atrás delas, hoje vivo na Finlândia, o último país onde a extinção ocorrerá, simplesmente porque é o país do mundo com mais loiras por metro quadrado, segundo o BANZAI. Mas ao fim destes anos todos, as loiras(cabelos pintados) começaram a ter alguma piada para mim e claro a perder o interesse, hoje aprecio mais uma morena de olhos verdes, enfim mudam-se os tempos, mudam-se as vontades. Depois disto tudo vem os TEMPTATIONS, isto está tudo ligado, porque há mais de 20 anos estes rapazes, como música de fundo, em conversas perdidas, naquelas noites escuras, me ajudavam na treta romanesca, que se utilizava para tentar convencer, as loiras que iam aparecendo no Algarve romântico nos anos 80. Fica desvendado um pouco mais de minha juventude, a pedido de um amigo.

Pois esta amiga convidou-me para uma festa lá na maison dela, e o resultado é este vídeo, claro não apareço na película, pelo facto de me terem pedido uma ajudinha com o microfone, por isso andei o tempo todo atrás da câmera, mas prometeram-me um vídeo clip a sós com a Diana, vamos a ver. Bom quanto à música desta amiga devo dizer que gosto imenso, esta mistura pop jazz é perfeita, gosto de conduzir à noite de regresso a casa com o cheiro do tabaco na roupa como companhia, e ouvir Diana Krall ou o mesmo género é muito relaxante, e se tiver uma companheira ao lado bem melhor, então passa, a romântico relaxante, experimentem, aconselho.

An introduction to the poem: Mar Português is the capital short poem of Portuguese Literature and also Pessoa's best known poem in his homeland. It sums up the cost of conquering the seas in terms of human suffering and asks "Was it worthwhile?" immediately replying with two resounding sentences "All is worthwhile when the spirit is not small" and "He who wants to go beyond the Cape has to go beyond pain". The poem then concludes in a grand manner with the statement that God created the sea dangerous but it was in it that He chose to mirror the sky that symbolizes heaven!

I am not a big fan of R.E.M. but this is by far one of the best songs I have ever heard. I love it. It's perfect for that rainy day, feeling low atmosphere. The song flows along at just the right pace and the lyrics are great.

Não sou grande fan dos R.E.M., mas esta é uma das melhores canções que já ouvi, adoro. É uma música perfeita para aqueles dias tristes e chuvosos. Uma canção com o passo acertado do princípio ao fim, a letra é muito boa.
Se por acaso se questionar o porquê de eu gostar de uma música um pouco depressiva, então é só ver o clip, não irá ficar desapontado.

This CD has to be one of the best, if not, the best CD I have in my collection. I have heard many great voices, but Howie's is amazing. He has a tremendous vocal range and his songs just make me feel good overall. It is artists like Howie Day that deserve all of the fame and fortune. He is what you call a real music artist and whats great about him is that he is not manufactured and he writes his own songs. If you don't have this CD, you should get it as soon as you can. I give it ten stars!

I think of Keane as one of the important bands on the new british wave, a very melodic band, stylish and tight.Tom Chaplin is an awesome singer. I also found their style quite fresh, the lack of guitars but the power in this case of the keys it's a sweet blend. This album is great.

Can´t think of another band that has consistenly released so many beautiful ballads. One after the other, they're all here in one collection(The Ballad Hits). Unfortunatly Roxette doesn't have the success they used to in america, but can you think of anyone that doesn't love "listen to your heart" or "it must have been love"? Roxette-wish-i-could-fly (CD-Single) I highly recommend this cd to anyone that enjoys decent music.

Não consigo imaginar nenhuma outra banda que tivesse consistentemente lançado no mercado tão grande quantidade de lindas baladas, uma depois de outra, estão todas juntas ao nosso alcanço nesta colecção (The Ballad Hits). Infelizmente nos Estados Unidos Roxette não está a ter o sucesso que está acostumada, mas consegue imaginar alguém que não adore ouvir "it must have been love"? Roxette-wish-i-could-fly (CD-Single) é para aqueles que gostam de ouvir boa música com qualidade, recomendo.

It is so hard to imagine the status of Mariah Carey right now. She definitely
has came back into the mainstream after so many a few years ago say no way. I was amazed by this song, this song totally caught me out, I found the first single off this album rather average yet this song was simply stunning.
I thoroughly recommend this song to anybody though the remixes are perfect the original hit is in a class of its own.

Ė difícil imaginar o estatuto actual de Mariah Carey. Ela sem duvida voltou a todo o vapor depois de alguns anos atrás serem muitos os que não acreditavam na reviravolta. Fiquei encantado com esta canção, mais uma vez me apaixonei por ela, a primeira faixa é mais ou menos, mas “We Belong Together" é simplesmente sensacional. Recomendo inteiramente este álbum a qualquer pessoa que goste da classe desta encantadora senhora.

I certainly agree this album is the best soul album released in 2005. There are some deep, soulful and naked, intensely emotional tracks on here, such as "Aint really love", "About You" and several others. As well as a few more instantly pleasing ones such as "One" and "Be without you". Her voice is better than ever! With this album she sets a new standard. It's inspiring.

Well, i really think Advertising space is one of the best song of this guy.I must admit that "Radio" and "Tripping" made me wonder what direction he was going in now. Then I saw the "bad" reviews of the new album, of course I bought it and love it !"Advertising Space" is close to "Angels". I will say that Advertising Space caught my attention right away, and that I believe it is the best since Angels.

Someday (I will understand) is a beautiful from probably the most successful pop star of all time additional to Madonna. Someday is a beautiful ballad thats even better than Everytime, no, it isn't her best song by a long shot (Do Sometin, Toxic anybody), but it is the best ballad song she has ever done. Definitely Britney did a great job creating this wonderful song for her babyboy, this is a great single. A great and beautiful song that everyone should love.

3Doors Down was formed in the small Mississippi town of Escatawpa in the mid 1990s by a group of high school friends. The group began as a trio consisting of Brad Arnold (27 September 1978, vocals/drums), Matt Roberts (10 January 1978, guitar), and Todd Harrell (13 February 1972, bass). All three members had strong musical backgrounds. 3 Doors Down forged a major-label contract using popular live shows and the reputation of a single song. Their hit, "Kryptonite," generated unprecedented buzz at local radio station WCPR in Biloxi, helping to make them hometown favorites and enabling them to draw relatively large crowds to their local live shows, which consequently, helped them extend their range beyond Mississippi and the deep south to internationally famous clubs like New York's CBGB's.
Originally a trio consisting of vocalist and drummer Brad Arnold, guitarist Matt Roberts and bassist Todd Harrell, the band soon added guitarist Chris Henderson and retained a studio drummer so that Arnold could come forward and sing live. Away From the Sun arrived in November 2002 - it debuted at number eight on the Billboard Top 200 and soon went gold. The group returned with the LP Seventeen Days in early 2005. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and went platinum in its first week of release.

The new album, Playing the Angel, may be their best since Violator. Definitely better than Exciter or Ultra, not sure yet about Songs of Faith and Devotion. It'll probably be on my Best of 05 list, but "Dream On", is my favorite clip.

Comment: Great album i enjoy the duets with all the different singers it gives an appreciation for all genres of music and introduces me to singers i don't usually listen to.

Comment: Yes, Carlos used the talents of Rob Thomas (of Matchbox 20), who not only sang the song "Smooth" but wrote it as well! Unfortunately, it was written in tribute to Thomas's Hispanic wife. He probably agrees with Santana's sentiments, being an open traitor.

Comment: It's always such a pleasure to be entertained by this level of versatility and talent. A wonderful production, very smooth - each instrument showing a great deal of independence, yet as a whole creating an amazing tight and solid composition.

Tom Chaplin (vocals), Richard Hughes (drums), and Tim Rice-Oxley (piano) are childhood friends from Battle, East Sussex, England who make up the merry pop sounds of Keane. Formed in 1997 while each were attending college, Keane initially started out as a cover band. They played Oasis, U2 and Beatles songs in and around Sussex with guitarist Dominic Scott. The schtick would only last so long, for Keane got tired of playing everyone else's songs and yearned to do things on their own. When Chaplin left his Art History studies at Edinburgh University behind in 1999 and moved to London to join the rest of his mates, Keane had a chance to really do it. They began writing and recording almost immediately. Call Me What You Like marked their self-released debut single in early 2000 and Wolf At The Door followed a year later, however things were slow to develop. Scott left the band in July 2001 and labels weren't really biting at Keane's rich, piano-driven kind of rock & roll because Coldplay was supposedly doing it. In December 2002, Keane got the break that they'd be waiting for. Fierce Panda's Simon Williams was summoned by a friend to attend a Keane gig in London. He was so impressed by the band's performance, Williams offered to issue the band's next single, Everything's Changing, on the spot. The limited-edition release was such a success on radio, several labels soon swarmed around the indie rock trio, eager to offer them a recording contract. Keane signed to Island UK in fall 2003 and released their fourth single, This Is The Last Time. The band's full-length debut, Hopes and Fears, appeared the following spring.

Early Days the four future members of Coldplay met as college students in London and became almost instant friends. The band grew out of their friendship. An early EP of only 500 copies got them a performance slot in the Manchester In the City music festival in 1998.

The punk pop craze continued to sweep across US shopping malls and MTV during the early twenty-first century, owing to the emergence of acts such as Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based Simple Plan. Following in the footsteps of fellow Canadians Sum 41, Simple Plan's roots lay in an earlier group, Reset, which included vocalist Pierre Bouvier and drummer Chuck Comeau, back in the mid-90s, when both were only 13 years old. Despite touring with MxPx, Ten Foot Pole, and Face To Face, as well as issuing a 1997 debut, No Worries, both Bouvier and Comeau left the band so they could finish their education. It was not long before their desire to play music returned, resulting in the formation of Simple Plan soon afterwards. Rounding out the line-up were guitarists Jeff Stinco and Sebastien Lefebvre, as well as former Reset bass player, David Desrosiers. After building a following by playing alongside headline acts on the 2001 edition of the Vans Warped Tour, the quintet signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records. In 2002 their debut, No Helmets, No Pads " Just Balls, was released, which featured guest appearances by Blink-182"s Mark Hoppus and Good Charlotte's Joel Madden.

Detroit native Marshall Bruce Mathers III is better known to the world at large as Eminem. He also uses the name Slim Shady.
Birth: Eminem was born October 17, 1972 in Kansas City, MO to Marshall Mathers Jr. and Deborah Mathers-Briggs.
Eminem was married to Kimberly Scott. The rocky marriage resulted in a split in August of 2000 followed by a reconciliation in December of 2000 before they ultimately divorced in March of 2001.
Eminem and Kim have one daughter together, Haile Jade Scott, born December 25, 1995. Eminem adores his daughter and has made her name a household word by immortalizing her in songs on his albums.

Hailing from the small town of Escatawpa, MS, near Biloxi, 3 Doors Down forged a major-label contract using popular live shows and the reputation of a single song. Their hit, "Kryptonite," generated unprecedented buzz at local radio station WCPR in Biloxi, helping to make them hometown favorites and enabling them to draw relatively large crowds to their local live shows, which consequently, helped them extend their range beyond Mississippi and the deep south to internationally famous clubs like New York's CBGB's.
Originally a trio consisting of vocalist and drummer Brad Arnold, guitarist Matt Roberts and bassist Todd Harrell, the band soon added guitarist Chris Henderson and retained a studio drummer so that Arnold could come forward and sing live. The CBGB's show brought them to the attention of Republic Records, a subsidiary of Universal, which issued the band's major-label debut, The Better Life, in early 2000. Away From the Sun arrived in November 2002 - it debuted at number eight on the Billboard Top 200 and soon went gold. Three Doors Down toured steadily throughout 2003 and 2004 in support of Away From the Sun, and issued the live EP Another 700 Miles in November 2003 as a holdover between studio efforts. Mariah Carey was born on March 27, 1970 near Long Island, NY, to Alfred and Patricia Carey. She has both an older brother and sister, Morgan and Alison respectively. When she was around three years old, her parents divorced due in part to racial prejudice against them (Alfred is Venezualen and African-American, Patricia is Irish). She subsequently was raised by her mother, a voice coach and opera singer, and was forced to move often because of difficult finances. It was also around the time she was three that she began to sing, often singing to her brother's radio or to spite her parents. Her highest octave is two higher than a normal soprano.
Mariah attended Harborfields High School in Greenlawn, NY, where she claims she was not much of a student. During this time, she sang for her brother's band and recorded her first demo in a studio her friend worked for. Because they were borrowing the studio, they were forced to record into the early hours of the morning. As a result Mariah often missed school, bringing her the nickname "Mirage". Just days after graduating from high school, Mariah moved to New York City with a friend, where they shared a mattress on the floor of a dingy apartment.
During her time in the city, Mariah worked a variety of odd jobs to support herself, including hat/coat-checking, hostessing, and sweeping hair salons. Before long, she won a job singing backup for pop star Brenda K. Starr, which eventually became her road to success. At a party with Starr in the late eighties, Mariah met with record execs and attempted to give one her demo. Instead it was snatched up by Tommy Mottola of then CBS Records. He listened to it in the limo and shortly after signed her to his label.
Since then, Mariah has had a whirlwind success, including number one hits, platinum albums, Grammy awards, and anything else you can imagine. In the coming year she will embark on a world tour and release a new album, and will no doubt further her success far into the coming millenium.
