Keane - Somewhere Only We Know
I think of Keane as one of the important bands on the new british wave, a very melodic band, stylish and tight.Tom Chaplin is an awesome singer. I also found their style quite fresh, the lack of guitars but the power in this case of the keys it's a sweet blend. This album is great.
Eu penso que Keane é uma das mais importantes bandas de new wave britânicas, uma banda muito melancólica, e espectacular. Tom Chaplin é um cantor a respeitar. É visível a sua frescura como banda. A falta de guitarristas é compensada com uma mistura agradável das teclas(orgão). Este álbum é muito bom.

Perhaps the biggest band in the UK of this year are Keane. You could say the title belongs to Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters or Franz Ferdinand, but I think it has to be Keane. They were first dubbed the new Coldplay - not only because they were spotted by the same small record label as Chris Martin's gang, but because their sound was similar. There's a big difference between Coldplay and Keane, however, and that is that Keane don't use guitars to make brilliant and emotional rock, they use the piano as their base instrument. It is ever-present throughout this entire album, and results in a successful stab at setting out what it intends to achieve. Countless bands have tried and failed in the past, but Keane have scored with this stunning debut album.

O Keane é fixe, na minha opinião é melhor que os Coldplay.
This is an amazing CD. I first heard them on Grey's Anatomy and wondered who they were. Their sound was so unique, clear and clean. They should have won this years Grammy for Best New Artist. We will be hearing more from this guys, mark my words.
Keane tem uma grande voz, é um artista muito jovem, um futuro grandioso pela frente.
I Love listening to Keane and I Love singing along; I Love it during the day, I Love it at night. It's the Real Deal. I give "Hopes and Fears" one of my highest recommendations. I think it should be in every music lover's library. Thank you, Keane.
